First Baptist has been a part of global missions for over 100 years. We are part of the International Mission Board (IMB) family of supporting churches. We give, go, and pray for people around the world to be able to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ. The International Mission Board also helps in disasters, humanitarian crisis, and ongoing needs of people in every continent around the globe. North America
First Baptist Church may be located on the Treasure Coast, but we support hundreds of missionaries across the North American continent who are part of the North American Mission Board (NAMB). NAMB seeks to address the problems facing the nation through individuals. While some organizations may stop short of holistic ministry, NAMB works to meet not only the physical and emotional needs of people, but also their personal relationship to Jesus Christ. Local
First Baptist understands our physical resources are limited, but we serve a God who has unlimited resources. As a result, our church realized, alone, we could do little to help with the large number of people who really need help. Saint Lucie County has a number of excellent ministries that address a wide range of needs, but First Baptist has chosen to partner with Mustard Seed Ministries to help citizens in our county. Mustard Seed has a variety of ways in which they help, and have helped over 60,000 people in the county last year.
