First Baptist Church of Fort Pierce

This Sunday’s Message: The Ten Commandments

“More Than Neighborly“

In Luke 20 Jesus uses a story about a Good Samaritan to explain to a lawyer God’s expectations for every human’s behavior.

The point of the story was not about just being nice or being good. It was about being challenged to love God first, and then to love every human creation of God.

What do you think about your neighbors? Who do you think your neighbors are? How do you treat your neighbors?

If we follow the teaching of Jesus and enter into a personal relationship with Him, our attitude and actions toward others will go far beyond what the world might think we need to do for those around us. We will treat our neighbors more lovingly and love more people like they are our neighbors.

Join us this Sunday as we explore what needs to be done to experience the true blessings of life. You can make a difference in the world if you see yourself as more than neighborly.

Please join us this coming Sunday. We hope to see you Sunday.
